General Meaning: Misleading notion
There are no such things are monsters. In dreams, monsters appear very real. Lucid dreaming tends to do that. However, keep in mind that whatever falls into the realm of the monstrous, or whatever is completely impossible and cannot reasonably occur when one is awake, signifies false hopes that will go unfulfilled.
