Lizards lie on rocks or hide under sand. They can move swiftly, and to escape danger they can actually lose their tail, and grow it back again. Just like our own dreams, which can be lost . . . can be restored again. If you dream of a lizard take very good notes on what else is in the dream, or what you are feeling emotionally at the time. Lizards are good omens of such importance; many Native American tribes include them in their family or personal totems. The lizard lay still, appearing to be asleep. They are not. They are dreaming.
