Clothing, for the most part is not something that is interpreted, generally speaking. When we dream of people, they are wearing cloths, which is pretty normal. Dreaming of someone sans clothing . . . now that’s the anomaly. Hats are different then clothing, especially nowadays when hats are common, or socially required. If the hat is out of fashion for the time, the dream might be indicating a secret, or cover-up. Perhaps the person wearing the hat is up to something, and the dream is giving you general warning.
