General Meaning: Direct circumstance
There are times when dreams of fear are a guide to events that may happen. But, being given this forewarning, a fearful event is anticipated, and diminished as a result. “Monsters” and things that go bump in the night can trigger dreaming of being afraid. But, is the dream isn’t caused by some outside indicator; perhaps the dreamer is fearful of standing their ground over an issue. When this happens, they become more vulnerable for their fears, in general, to take over. If there is nothing causing fear, it might be a time to evaluate events in waking life that are accessible to creating dreams of fear.
