General Meaning: Obstruct
Dreaming of a dead-end, or of something being dead is a very clear message that whatever project, adventure or situation the dreamer is in, either in the dream or in real life, it will not come to fruition. It does not mean someone will die. Dead, or dead-end is symbolic of cessation. Something stops. Why? Typically, there is an unforeseen obstruction that manifests. When we have a thought or idea, a plan that does not work, there’s a reason. This is what the dream is saying. Look for what might be blocking the life force, in a manner of speaking.
