Cats are fickle creatures. One minute independent and aloof; purring and circling our ankles the next. They are purring and around our ankles because they want something; affection, attention in general. They want their needs met, and so when dreaming of a cat there is an overall sense that someone is going to be charming you for their needs, not yours. Have you ever rubbed a cat behind their ears and then all of a sudden . . . they take a swipe. Exactly!
