General Meaning: In control, not in control
Depending on what, or whom is being bitten, or who is doing the biting would determine the overall meaning. For example, if someone is taking a bite of food a long-term problem will be taken care of. If the same someone is taking a bit out of a person they know, this might be indicative of taking back control. However, if someone is biting you in the dream, than you might be losing control to that person in your life.
